H4 Hotel Kassel

Overall, quite a nice hotel. The room was spacious and peaceful, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was large, featuring a nice bathtub. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located in a calm area of the city, halfway between Kassel’s city center and Wilhelmshöhe Park—both reachable on foot with a bit of a long walk, but also easily accessible by public transport.

Room was very spacious, clean. Bathroom had a bath and shower and we had additional toilet in the room. Breakfast was excellent - fresh, lots of options, sweet, savoury, also vegans, amazing fresh fruits salads, great coffee. Clean everywhere, staff very attentive. The hotel is in a good, calm location, close to the shops and parks. Highly recommended!

The reception staff were not only friendly but also highly professional, making the check-in and overall experience a breeze. Although the hotel parking lot across the street is chargeable, there are plenty of free parking spaces available along the roadside, providing cost-effective options for guests. The rooms were tastefully decorated and well-appointed, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional, with a wide variety of options and generous portions, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

Good room size, great breakfast, central location, nice town view. My room had an air conditioner, but I was told not all the rooms are equipped with it, so make sure to ask for one depending on the weather. Free mineral water is nice, same as free ticket for local public transport. Hotel has plenty of parking space if you drive a car. Walking distance to/from a train station.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Spoke English and very pleasant to have conversations with during stay. Room was great Coffee/tea and two bottles were great along with coffee machine and tea pot. Parking was very short distance from entrance. Free Transportation tickets for tram/ bus travel throughout city. Best shower water pressure ever seen in hotel...very nice after a long day walking. Breakfast is outstanding and the staff very professional from sharp dress, serve, and bearing.
